Ruth

Ruth Hodgson was born in Ormskirk, and studied veterinary medicine at the Royal Veterinary College in London. She graduated in 1996 and has worked as small animal veterinary surgeon since then, in Wales and the North West.

Ruth has had lurchers for a long time, and witnessing them growing old and arthritic has made her decide to do some extra studying and start offering acupuncture therapy, after seeing how well her own dog responded to it.

This is to be seen as additional to any treatment the pet’s regular vet has prescribed, as extra help to treat pain and improve mobility, and the animal will need to be referred by their own veterinary surgeon.
